What are CE Credits?
Continuing medical education (CE)
Several countries require CE for medical professionals to maintain their licenses. The specific requirements for licensure are locally regulated by responsible authorities.
Recognition
Dental Campus is a qualified provider for CE. All content is supervised by an international board of renowned dental experts (Implant Campus Board). Dental Campus is approved by the Swiss Dental Association (SSO). In Germany, the allocation of points corresponds to the “Guiding principles of dental education” (KZBV, BZÄK and DGZMK) and the 'scoring of training' (BZÄK and DGZMK)
Acquisition of continuing education credits (CE credits)
The acquisition of continuing education credits (CE credits) furnishes proof of CE-accomplishment. To achieve online CE credits an activity evaluation (e.g. assessment) aligned to the attended CE-offer is mandatory.
The official recognition of the provided CE credits lies in the responsibility of the users.
Procedure:
To earn CE credits a lecture has to be watched completely and the referring exam needs to be passed. An exam is passed if at least 70% of all answers are correct.
After achievement a personal certificate is issued. It is valid for 1 (one) year. The certificate is anytime retrievable in the „My certificates“ area on Dental Campus. The exam can be repeated twice. Each re-examination can be taken anytime.
Please be aware:
Users are cautioned about the potential risks of using limited knowledge when incorporating techniques and procedures into their practices, especially when the course has not provided supervised clinical experience.
The Dental Campus Association declares to have no proprietary or financial interest of any kind in any product, service and/or company in respect to the educational content.
